Hey, I’m Anika, a writer, editor and content marketer. 

 

My maa’s simple parenting choice to give her incredibly chaotic child a diary to channel her feelings through words made me find writing as a form of solace and expression. Fast forward to today, I still find myself relying on that same technique to infuse passion into my professional work.

 

Until a few years back, I was just an arts and literature enthusiast with an English degree trying to find a place in the world of creative expression. A spontaneous decision to dive into the digital marketing field took me across continents (yeah, no exaggeration there) and came to Canada. Since then, it has been a fascinating learning curve in communication, marketing and content creation. 

 

My love for exploring new cultures fuels my ideation process. After a stint in Toronto, I jetted off to Taiwan for a three-month internship as an international affairs communicator at Hungkuang University. During that time, I dabbled in conducting English writing workshops, creating videos and managing the social media channels for the university. 

 

I've delved into various forms of content creation, constantly honing my skills on the journey to mastering one. That's why I freelance as both a creator and marketer—actively seeking what resonates best with me.

 

When not crouching in front of the laptop furiously typing out content for you, you'll find me exploring local spots with my earphones blaring rock songs and coming back home to record the experiences in my journal. Oh, and I also love painting on everything that’s not paper.
